Privacy Policy (Kyoto-iCAP Employment Placement Business)

Kyoto University Innovation Capital Corporation ("Kyoto-iCAP") (hereinafter referred to as "Kyoto iCAP") has established the following privacy policy regarding the job placement business conducted by Kyoto-iCAP (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). The following privacy policy has been established with respect to the job placement business conducted by Kyoto-iCAP (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). The Service is provided to the companies, affiliated companies, organizations, etc. using the Service (hereinafter referred to as "User Companies, etc.") and users of the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Users"). Kyoto-iCAP will handle the personal information of Users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") in accordance with this Privacy Policy, paying close attention to the management of such personal information. In addition, Kyoto-iCAP may establish a separate privacy policy for the handling of personal information of applicants to Kyoto-iCAP and employees and directors in connection with the handling of personal information in individual businesses (investment businesses, etc.) other than this Service operated by Kyoto-iCAP. In such cases, personal information shall be handled in accordance with the relevant privacy policy.

Kyoto-iCAP is committed to the realization of the protection of personal information, and is therefore committed to the protection of personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act"). - Advice and suggestions for recruiting companies to develop a human resource recruitment plan
- Responding to inquiries, consultations and complaints, and resolving disputes
- Fraud countermeasures necessary for the safe operation of this service, such as investigations related to applications, transfer of rights and obligations, registration of false information, fraud, unauthorized access, and other illegal acts prohibited by Kyoto iCAP
- Contact based on publications, the Internet, and other public information, etc.
- Provision of information such as e-mail newsletters, direct mail, notices, and advertisements related to this service
- Publication on websites and other media edited, published and operated by Kyoto-iCAP

When Kyoto-iCAP consigns analysis work to an advertising-related business, Kyoto-iCAP may add log information related to Internet usage, such as user attribute information, location information, and action history held by the advertising-related business to the personal information held by Kyoto-iCAP, and receive analysis results aggregated into information that cannot identify a specific individual in Kyoto-iCAP by such information alone. Kyoto-iCAP may receive the results of the analysis, which is compiled into information that cannot be used to identify a specific individual in Kyoto-iCAP. - Other operations related or incidental to the above
