Eligibility for Application | (Required) Those who are enthusiastic about creating businesses utilizing the research results of national universities. At least 3 years of experience in one of the following areas of work 1. investment-related work at venture capital firms, investment banks, etc. 2. new business development and R&D related work at operating companies, etc. 3. work at a strategic consulting firm (Preferred) Graduated from a university or completed graduate studies in the natural sciences. |

working conditions | Type of work :Discretionary work system for planning work. However, this does not apply during the probationary period. Working hours: 8:30 - 17:30 (break time: 60 minutes) Overtime: Yes Vacations and leave: 2 days off per week, national holidays, June 18 (Kyoto University foundation day), summer vacation, special summer vacation (3 days in addition to summer vacation), year-end and New Year vacations 124 days off per year Salary increase/bonus: Assessment based on performance evaluation, no bonus |
salary | Base salary: Approximately 575-12 million yen (based on annual income) To be determined in accordance with our company's regulations, taking into consideration ability, experience, and age (negotiable) Overtime allowance (in case of flextime system), late-night allowance, and other allowances as required by law. |

Job Description | As a member of the second phase of our Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program, "EIR-iCAP," you will be responsible for the practical aspects of investing in and nurturing startups that utilize the research results of national universities, while aiming to start your own startup and become independent. Based on your experience and interests, you will develop a business theme, formulate a business plan with the support of the Kyoto University Group, and start your own business. After starting your own business, we will support you in your activities as a business manager.
