("LegalForce") (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Nozomu Tsunoda and Masataka Ogasawara), a venture company that utilizes research results from Kyoto University.

LegalForce is a legal tech venture founded by a team of lawyers from major law firms and engineers specializing in information processing engineering, together with Professor Shinsuke Mori (Department of Intelligent Informatics, Graduate School of Informatics, Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University), who is highly knowledgeable and experienced in natural language processing technology. The working environment in legal departments and law firms of major corporations is becoming increasingly harsh due to the globalization and complexity of the business environment and the need to strengthen compliance.

LegalForce offers "LegalForce," an AI-powered contract review support service that aims to streamline the contract review process so that legal professionals can focus on more sophisticated decision-making work. With the legal tech market in full swing, "LegalForce" is expanding its customer base, especially in the legal departments of major listed companies, and is leading the contract review AI market.

LegalForce is conducting joint research with Kyoto University's Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies to improve the accuracy of contract review through natural language processing and machine learning techniques. LegalForce also receives support from Associate Professor Kohei Suenaga of Kyoto University's Graduate School of Informatics (Department of Computer Engineering, Division of Communications and Information Systems, Graduate School of Informatics) through an academic guidance contract.
