Selected for the "Demonstration Project for the Utilization of Visiting Entrepreneurs (EIR)".
(Head Office: Sakyo-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director: Kimi Kusumi) has been selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) for the "Demonstration Project for the Use of Visiting Entrepreneurs (EIR)" (FY2021 Supplementary Funds for the "New Learning and Career Path Promotion Project (Commissioned Project for Demonstration Support for Companies that Utilize Visiting Entrepreneurs)"). (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, FY2021 Amendment, "Project to Promote New Learning and Career Paths (Commissioned Project)", entrusted by the Japan Institute for Social Infrastructure Development and Innovation (JISSUI)).
This project supports the efforts of companies that develop new businesses or create new collaborations by employing people who are preparing to start a business or who have knowledge about new business development or collaboration with startup companies for a certain period of time or longer: The program also aims to promote the establishment of EIRs in Japan, increase the number of start-ups, and promote open innovation by working as a leading example of the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) system in Japan.
Kyoto iCAP will utilize this project to launch an EIR program (EIRiCAP) that will provide direct employment by Kyoto iCAP and implement the creation of a system that will efficiently produce startups that will "change the world in 20 years" in both quantity and quality. In the future, we aim to grow into an ecosystem that is a safety net for entrepreneurs and a home for serial entrepreneurs.
