Accepted interns.
We accepted interns for the third time.
This time, we accepted Mr. Naoki Tosaka as part of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's training program within the ministry.
During her three-week internship, Ms. Tosaka was assigned to the investment department, where she worked with members of the investment division to conduct due diligence and investment discussions in preparation for investment. On the last day of the internship, a mock support investment committee meeting was held based on the business plan developed by the interns, and Mr. Tosaka experienced a tough question-and-answer session just like an actual committee meeting.
At the completion ceremony, Mr. Tosaka gave a speech saying, "I now have a better understanding of where venture companies face challenges in the growth process from seed," and was presented with a certificate of completion and a commemorative gift by Mr. Yagi, Director of Investment Department 1, and his mentor, Mr. Shinohara of the Investment Department.
Yagi commented, "We would like to continue to work with METI to better support ventures and startups, so let's continue to cooperate with them.
Kyoto iCAP aims to contribute to human resource development and improve public understanding of university-launched venture investment operations through the acceptance of interns.
