Conclusion of Collaboration Agreement with Aichi Prefecture

Kyoto University Innovation Capital Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Kyoto iCAP") (Head office: Sakyo-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director: Kimi Kusumi) has recently concluded a partnership agreement with Aichi Prefecture for the purpose of strengthening the creation of new startups.

Aichi Prefecture's strength lies in its industrial concentration. With this as a backdrop, we are promoting the "STATION Ai Project" based on the "Aichi-Startup Strategy" formulated in 2018 to create an ecosystem to expand the growth of the prefecture's industries by inducing new innovation through the fusion of manufacturing traditions and superior technologies and skills. The project is being promoted based on the "Aichi-Startup Strategy," which was formulated in 2018.

Aichi Prefecture's efforts in this area are expected to have tremendous synergy with the activities of Kyoto iCAP, which supports startups emerging from Kyoto University and national universities, mainly in the area of deep tech, and thus the "Agreement on the Creation of Innovation through Startups and Mutual Collaboration and Cooperation" was concluded. The agreement will be signed in the form of an "Agreement on the Creation of Innovation by Startups and Mutual Collaboration and Cooperation.
