Innovation Kyoto 2016 Investment Limited Partnership ("KYOTO-iCAP No.1 Fund"), with Kyoto University Innovation Capital Corporation ("Kyoto iCAP") (Head office: Sakyo-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director: Koji Murota) as unlimited liability partner, has made an investment in PrediXT Co. ("PrediXT") (Head office: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; Representative Director: Tadashi Takiguchi), a venture company that utilizes research results from Kyoto University.

PrediXT is based on the "relational system" created by Associate Professor Ryoichi Niikuma of the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, and is a project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency's (JST) "Science and Technology Agency for the Creation of New Industry from Universities (START)" program.^{note (supplementary information) symbol}(headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Tadashi Takiguchi, President), a venture company founded by Associate Professor Niikuma and business promoter Well Investment Co.

PrediXT plans to use "relational systems" in a wide range of fields such as online advertising, medical care, security, and financial risk management.
