Acquisition of Shares of Questetra Inc.
Questetra is a venture company whose core business is the development of business process management software "Questetra BPM (Business Process Management) Suite" and BPM consulting. The software incorporates a wide range of algorithms developed by Professor Emeritus Naoki Kato of Kyoto University's Graduate School of Engineering in his research project "MUSASHI: Knowledge Discovery Support Software. This cloud-based software is equipped with business flow diagram drawing, drafting, and business process result analysis functions, and facilitates the visualization and improvement of complex business flows within a company.

With the growing interest in improving the efficiency of business processes and business cost management, as well as the increasing number of situations in which management information is utilized, the business improvement approach using BPM has been attracting attention. Although it is required to keep reflecting the ideal business process in the business system in accordance with the ever-changing business environment, BPM software that can be easily created by all employees and is highly scalable is still not widely available in the general public.

In response, Questetra succeeded in developing software that can be operated entirely from a browser, without the need for programming or system knowledge. With Questetra's software, it is now possible for anyone in the company to visualize the progress of the company's operations and continue to improve business processes easily and continuously.

Currently, Questetra is providing cloud services directly to approximately 200 companies registered for a fee, as well as providing software to financial institutions, educational institutions, airlines, etc., and is practicing improvement of product functions and development of new functions for further business expansion in the future. Kyoto iCAP acquired the company's shares for 70.4 million yen in the expectation that the software would meet the needs of industry for visualization and streamlining of business processes, as well as potentially contribute to the establishment of quality assurance and internal control systems.
